Over my career in applied mathematics, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas:

In addition to the more traditional areas of applied math listed above, I’ve had occasion to apply number theory and category theory, two areas not typically applied to practical problems.

I am occasionally asked to give expert testimony regarding mathematics and statistics, such as explaining probability to a jury.
