I like your program that generates distributions. I want to do something with my son to teach him about statistics. Like counting the cars vs SUVs parked on the street and figuring out the distribution. Or men versus women on the street, or the number of morbidly obese, or dog walkers, or whatever. (This is New York).
I just wasn’t sure sure how to get from the raw numbers to the distribution, and your Starbucks post was helpful. But I don’t think the distribution of people working in Starbucks is normal. Some of those people live there.
