Blog seventh anniversary

Seven years

This blog is seven years old today. I’ve written 2,273 posts so far, a little less than one per day.

  1. Congratulations, John! Thank you for all the useful information and tips, always look forward to reading it!

  2. Congratulations! I’m always curious about how people with large blog archives manage them – remembering interesting posts to link to, building up thoughts over time… In addition to your yearly reviews of popular posts, do you do other things to help you remember or get an overview?

  3. Thanks. I don’t do anything special. I mostly remember what I wrote.

Technical posts have easy keywords to search on, so it’s not hard to look up posts on a given topic. Less technical posts, say on creativity, are harder to locate.
