The Elements of Statistical Learning: Data Mining, Inference, and Prediction, Second Edition, by Trevor Hastie, Robert Tibshirani, and Jerome Friedman.

Wow, I just bought it from Amazon! Anyway the online version does not always replace the printed version of a book. Thanks for the tip.

Stelios, I agree. For important books, it’s good to have paper and electronic versions. I’d rather read large sections on paper then have the electronic version for reference.
