It might be worth pointing out the link to convolution on the Central Limit Theorem page: loosely put, the distribution of the sum or difference of two RVs is the convolution of their individual distributions; any signal convolved with itself enough times becomes normal (and in fact, convergence to normal is “exponentially fast”, because repeated convolution in the signal domain is repeated elementwise multiplication in the frequency domain).
